Quantity: 1 Strap per Kit
The Basement Wall Strap system is intended to permanently repair a cracked and/or inward bowed foundation wall and to prevent the wall from tipping in at the top. The straps will not remove the crack or bow in the foundation wall but permanently prevent the wall from bowing in any further or collapsing. The straps act as steel reinforcement on the interior face of the wall. Once the stretch-resistant straps are applied, the wall will be prevented from bowing any further. The straps are secured to the wall at the top and bottom using 3/8” diameter concrete expansion anchors. The top of the straps is anchored to the sill plate using two ¼” diameter x 1.5” long structural screws.
Our product is designed for foundation walls that are up to 8’ tall with a backfill height of 8’ (earth should be even with top of exterior side of wall) for up to class III soils (60 PSF lateral load); class III soils are usually the worst soils encountered. The straps should be installed so that they are spaced at 16” on center. If walls are less than 8’, the bottom excess length of the strap can be trimmed off. These straps are not recommended for installation on a wall that has deflected inward more than 2”.
The straps are galvanized steel, 1.25” wide, 0.031” thick and 8’-6” long and come pre-drilled with the holes. The product comes complete will all of the drill bit and nut driver for installing the top of the strap to the rim joist as well as the masonry drill bit and concrete screw anchors. The hardware is also galvanized steel. The product does not come with the socket for installing the masonry screws or the hammer drill .
Product and support are great. Super friendly and helpful people. Install was relatively simple with proper tools and guidance .

It was easy to install the wall strap took me about 5 minutes each one. Must have a good hammer drill and impact gun will make it go smoother. So far I’m happy with the product

Basement wall straps
Order came quickly. Install was fast & easy. Had to use them for a bowed wall in a house I was selling. Structural engineer signed off on it. The straps worked like a charm. Took about 4 hours total including set up & clean up to install 10 straps solo. The included mason bits ate up the block too. I had a big Bosch hammer drill but never needed it as my 20v dewalt drill worked perfectly. Had the impact gun for the bolts and the job was fairly easy. Much easier & cheaper than carbon fiber or block pins. I highly recommend these straps. Everything you need comes with it.

Cost effective alternative!
Quoted an arm and a leg for same feature functionality by another company. I am pleased with the product and related costs. Friendly staff/ fast shipping!
It is a good product. Well made pre-drilled and structural screws with it. Price was ok little high than I was hoping but I understand testing and all that. I will shop here again if I run into this situation again. Thank you
These were easy to install and very straight forward. Delivery was quick and on time. I will definitely be ordering through here again when the need arises.
Hi I am Chuck Paterniti Owner of Paterniti Homes LLC. I liked the product for the application that we had on a new construction. We had no problem getting the repair passed through our IRC inspector. Two things I would like to see is the engineering on each product including spans and loads with placement limitations and options for longer plates.
Thank you so much for your 5 star review. We are glad you liked the product and the repair passed inspection. Thank you so much for your business!
